It time to get to know you. During your consultation you will complete an in-depth questionnaire. This includes, health, medications, sleep, life style, eating habits and supplementation to name a few. Then we get to know each other to see if we are right for you.

Its harder to build muscle once our hormones start to fluctuate. Here are a few tips to help. #1 Protein!! 30 grams at each meal and add more in your snacks. You should have at least 100 grams a day. #2 Creatine, our bodies have some but not enough adding creatine monohydrate 5 ml. every day to help build muscle and keep bones strong.
As we approach menopause we need to change our mindset from working out to be skinny to lifting heavy to maintain muscle mass and bone density. Muscle supports our skeletal system and also has this great job of burning fat and boosting metabolism. The old more cardio to stay thin isn’t a thing anymore. Strength training also increases happy endorphins helping with depression and anxiety. I have also found when training my female clients, they feel empowered when they see how strong they have become. The most beneficial cardio for woman at this stage are HIIT intervals. This is when we go full out for 30 seconds then rest before doing it again. This type of workout is great for cardiovascular endurance.
